Creating Looks✨

It has been a busy fall wedding season and even though I’m not feeling my best due to viruses in the air :/ the change of seasons always inspires me so much. This week is my resting week before my next bride and I just can’t believe the peak of Fall is here!  When you think of a fall wedding the first thing that comes to mind are those breathtaking sunsets, burgundy, mustard yellows, beautiful dark rich colors that adorn any bride's big day, and that moon! I just love the whole vibe <3

Since the beginning of fall I have been able to glam up 4 beautiful brides. My most recent one was Ava this past Saturday October 12! She was perfect and another reason why I love my brides so much!

I’ve always known that beauty cannot be judged objectively because everybody has a different meaning of it but if you ask me what my proudest moment is when I apply makeup to someone, my answer will always be when I see a happy face at the end, when a client is satisfied with what they see in the mirror. As a makeup artist you want your clients to be happy and feel comfortable in their own skin.  In the process of their own transformation, I can tell when they really feel so good that they gain confidence and self-love.  I have 3 types of clients.  I have clients that come to me to observe how I work, what I use and patiently wait to express themselves more at the end, others that are much more conversational, confident and carry a boosted self-steam that is so contagious, these women can be stay at home moms or CEO’s it doesn’t really matter 😊. My other type of clients are the apologetic ones, these women will say things like, -Sorry this is what you have to work with- or – I'm not pretty at all -or –I'm so full of wrinkles - or I’m sorry my nose is so big!

I honestly believe that every woman that sits on my makeup chair is beautiful with or without makeup, I like to think that putting makeup on them is like that therapy that helps me make them believe it.

Every face is unique and the experience of applying makeup to each one of them is a work of its own, the way how I approach makeup application is in terms of a balanced and hydrating skin, symmetry and light but I also try to do everything in my power to help ensure they feel calmed and confident before they leave my chair and if that includes  a touch of color to your lips or a little more light to your cheekbones then I’ll do it because I know how special that moment is for them.

As a bride and as a woman you deserve to FEEL like the best version of yourself on your wedding day or any ocassion!  Take a look at yourself in the mirror and think that among the millions of women out there, there is no one like you!

xoxo💋
