Hello my lovely readers! This year I’m celebrating my 18th anniversary with the man of my dreams which this year falls on Thanksgiving Day!

Did you know that most marriage proposals happen between Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day? Here’s a suggestion for my 2023 and 2024 brides.

Engagement photos are the next step for many couples and very often on makeup trial appointments my bride clients tell me they don’t have any plans for the day. They end up wearing perfect makeup for a cute selfie in the car or on errands they have to run the rest of the day.

If you are planning to have a trial run, which I highly recommend, how about making full use of it and schedule your engagement shoot the same day?

This is one of the reasons why bridal trials are awesome! You can see how your makeup will look not just in person but also in photographs, and you’ll save money by not having to schedule your makeup for a third time. I think this is genius!

Another way to make the most of your pro-makeup is by wearing it to your bachelorette party or just going out with your girlfriends. It’s the perfect time to test coverage and the longevity of your makeup.

Planning a special date night with your future husband is also a great idea! Also, if you don’t want him to see your wedding makeup, no worries colors can always be toned down or changed to a softer look.

Remember to ask questions and give feedback to your makeup artist so you can get your perfect look! Always let your MUA know how you feel about your makeup!
