July’s Blog

Hello my beautiful readers✧˖°.

It has been a long time since my last blog in April. May was a pretty busy month with proms and June came so fast which part of it I spent in Barranquilla, Colombia visiting my Dad and also taking care of a new project. I cannot believe how beautiful my hometown is looking and spending time there is always a pleasure. Although it’s a main city, time really slows down in Barranquilla, people might not have the luxuries that we may enjoy in the USA but their vibrant spirit is so contagious. It’s inevitable to disconnect.

Colombian women like to dress up all the time, always striving to look good, they like to invest time and money in their physical appearance and they love makeup, perfume, hair, nails, gym, and anything beauty so there are beauty businesses everywhere you go. Something I always do when I am there is choose a day to go to a spa. They are open at 7am! There are all kinds from the most affordable to the most expensive. I like to take advantage of the fantastic body and facial treatments they offer. This time I was able to get a complete body exfoliation, massage with aromatherapy, a facial and more from @leylabarriosspa, you really come out like brand new so if you want to visit Barranquilla Colombia one day you can let me know maybe we can go together 🥰

Going back really reminds me who I was twenty years ago and everything I have learned while living in the USA. This blog is just to say how grateful I feel to be able to live in one of the best countries ever and also go back to the one that saw me growing up. It always changes your perception of life and teaches you so much.

July is the month where I try to evaluate where I am, dedicate time to educate myself more about my craft and think about alternatives on how to improve my services on every aspect so while I cannot wait to meet my August Brides, I have been preparing my makeup classes online and in person! It’s something that I’ve been wanting to do for a while but I will finally be able to do this year! Stay tuned!

xoxo💋
